The British Tag!

Hi there ol' buddy ol' pal, ol' chums!

So today I've decided to do The British Tag!
I've been reading tag posts on blogs and watching them on YouTube recently and could not settle on which one I wanted to do. After much deliberation, I've come to the conclusion that I'm definitely British and this one needs to be done.

So let's not waste any time..

1. How many cups of tea do you have a day? And how many sugars?
I LOVE TEA. I'm so happy that I am proudly a Brit that loves a good cuppa!
I'd say I probably have 3-4 cups of tea a day on average? More likely in winter or when it's cold in general! I used to have two sugars all the time from when I first ever tried tea. Then I cut to one, then none for AGES! Recently I have been having one sugar for that extra bit of energy and comfort.

2. Favourite part of your roast?
To be honest I'm neither here nor there with a roast. We don't have it every Sunday. Probably once or twice a month? Although I could easily go without a roast ever again, I'd have to say it's a toss up between Yorkshire puddings and crispy potatoes!

3. Favourite dunking biscuit?
Let's be real here. If you don't like dunking biscuits in tea, you're not really a full on Brit. I'm a HUGE lover of chocolate digestives dunked in tea. But if there are custard creams available.. THEY'RE MINE!!

4. Favourite quintessential British pastime?
Oooohhh! Picnics in the park is quite high up there. Or just drinking tea and complaining about the weather..

5. Favourite word?
Beautiful. I tend to say the word beautiful quite a lot. Whether I'm being genuine or sarcastic, everything is beautiful.

6. Cockney rhyme slang?
Orite me ol' China plate? Been a long time since I saw your boat race. Fancy a cuppa Rosy Lee?

7. Favourite Sweet?
I'm more of a chocolate than a sweets girl but if I had to pick one I think it would have to be strawberry laces! Yummmm!

8. What would your pub be called?
GET-OUTTA-MY
If you're British, you'll understand..

9. Number one British person?
I left this question till last because I need a long time to think to be honest.
I'm just going to have to say Simon Cowell. What a guy. Responsible for making so many dreams become a reality!

10. Favourite shop/ restaurant?
PRIMARK. I'm literally in love with their home range so that's an obvious one. I also need to visit the TK MAXX stores that are called HomeSense!
Restaurant? I don't really eat out much really but when I do, I do like a Nandos.

11. What British songs pops into your head?
I don't know why because I haven't heard it for so so long but I randomly got Jessie J- Do It Like A Dude..

12. Marmite?
I don't love it or hate it? I just enjoy it. You have to get the ratio right though!

Okay so that's it!
I actually really enjoyed answering those questions so be prepared for more tag posts haha!

I may do some tags as videos on my YouTube soon so make sure you're subscribed and ready for them!

While you're there, don't forget to like and comment on my recent videos and share them with your friends if you like them.

I'm tagging everyone that reads this post!

I live for a lazy Sunday!

When I know I have a Sunday off work, I'm instantly dreaming of that beautiful lay in, waking up when I want with no alarm set.. A cup of tea in bed as I check Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and emails. Then lounge around all day in joggers with no intention of doing anything productive.

This Sunday however, did start off that way but after going out for crépes with my mum which was so so lovely! We both had a giant milk chocolate and banana one and a mocha.. Check out this beautiful creation!

I started manically spring cleaning my bedroom and ended up throwing away bags and bags of things I didn't need, use or were broken and pointless. I also rotated my wardrobe to pull all my spring/summer clothes in and put most winter clothes away into the loft!

I'm not even finished yet! Now I've started this mission, I'm determined to get my room looking spotless and neat freak acceptable. On my next day off..

Lavand - #CarnabySS15 event!

You may or may not have heard of a company called Lavand.
They have clothing stores in Spain! Carnaby Street in London also have a small store and yesterday was the launch of their spring/summer collection!

They held an event in store to celebrate with snacks and Buck's Fizz while you got to check out the new season stock.
The focus on dusky, muted colours really stood out to me and I was enjoying the spring feel with the pastels creeping back in!

I didn't get to stay very long as I had to rush off but I have to say that as a new discovery to me, I was impressed with quite a few little items!
And although it's not really high street prices, it's worth a look to see what grabs your eye!

Here are some of the ways to find them online if you want to check out the new collection:

I tried to vlog today as promised but it turned out to be a lot more of a rushing around kind of day than we expected!

The vlog can be found here:

And incase you missed it, my new haul video is here:

Think that's all for this morning's blog. Time to drag myself out of bed and make a cup of tea!! X

Alfie's delivery from www.petshop.co.uk!!

The lovely people at www.petshop.co.uk sent Alfie some tasty treats to try!

Inside was some dry dog food from Huntland. A natural, grain free mix which is so so healthy for the little companion in your life!

Alfie usually only eats dry food with a bit of cheese or ham mixed in and not really any wet dog food, unless he's been unwell or to the vet. So this should go down well!

The next thing in the box was some wet food. This one is from Nature Diet and is the vegetables and rice flavour! What is impressive about this food is that it is 100% gluten free!

Again, this one is for older dogs as Alfie is now 10 years old so this one will be best for him. He has to go to the vet early next month so this will come in very handy!

Lastly, the box contained a bag of Wagg treats!  Alfie can be quite fussy with his treats if he's not used to them so these will need a few tries before he decides if he likes them or not!

With all this goodness inside, I'm definitely going to keep trying them with him.

I'm hugely impressed with this parcel and I'd like to say a BIG thankyou to Amy at www.petshop.co.uk for helping us out and carefully selecting these fantastic goodies just for Alfie!

Check out my YouTube channel for the unboxing video and see the reactions from Alfie himself.. The cheeky pooch.

It's nearly Mother's Day!

Mother's Day is just around the corner and I'm usually so so late on deciding what to buy my mum!
Last month I happened to walk passed The Card Factory and noticed some really cute little add-on gifts that I literally HAD to pick up!

This little hanging wall plaque is really cute and I think my mum will love it!

Also this beautiful linked photo frame which is from the same range!
She's always on about getting some photos on the walls so here's a little helping hand.

As usual, I haven't yet bought the main present.. Shock, I know!
But here's a little list of the things I've been thinking of! (And lusting over for myself! I can borrow, right??):

1, HAS to be the Magnitone Eclipse!
Oh. My. God. Forget going OUT to a spa for a facial when you can relax in your own home and pamper yourself! This little gem promises good things to your skin and don't we all want a glowing, youthful complexion?? Retailing at £170, this is one to save for but as you are the best child your mum could ever wish for, you've already saved haven't you..

2, Along the same lines of beauty, I'm thinking of splashing out on a whole new makeup bag full of goodies! I have the Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation and it's the best one I've ever tried! The coverage is so good and they will match the colour to your skin tone free of charge if you go to a counter. At £27, it's very tempting!

3, A girl can never have too many shoes. This is a fact! Maybe a pricey pair of heels would do nicely? I mean we are the same size after all... Time to get looking!

Guys, help me out! What can I buy for Mother's Day?? It's so soon.
